Dr. Friedman is Head of Nuclear Medicine Physics. He is responsible for all instrumentation and computer quality control and performance at both the St. Luke's and Roosevelt sites. He presents the basic science physics course to the Nuclear Medicine, Nuclear Cardiology, and Cardiology residents, delivering the majority of lectures and seminars and directing the laboratory practicum experiments on these topics. Dr Friedman’s academic interests involve radiation safety issues, instrumentation, clinical and system computer software, and computer modeling of physiologic systems.
Alan Rozanski, M.D.
Dr. Rozanski, is a member of the Division of Cardiology, Department of Medicine, and Director of Nuclear Cardiology. Dr. Rozanski, in rotation with the Nuclear Medicine physician faculty, is responsible for interpretation of Nuclear Cardiology studies and the instruction of residents in clinical Nuclear Cardiology. He is a diplomat of the ABIM with certification in Cardiology and the ABNM.
Siu-Sun Yao, M.D.
Dr. Yao, a member of the Division of Cardiology, Department of Medicine, is the Director of the University Medical Practice Associates outpatient laboratory, where outpatient Nuclear Cardiology scans are performed. In rotation with Dr. DePuey, he also presents the monthly Nuclear Cardiology case conference. He is a diplomat of the ABIM with certification in Cardiology and the CBNC. He is Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at Columbia.
